K-ép Stúdió was founded in 1993, continuing the professional traditions of Multicad Stúdió. Its owners are Hungarian private individuals, who have remained unchanged since its foundation.
At the beginning, the company was primarily active in the field of architectural CAD systems, supplemented by structural analysis programs. In the early days of the company, Datacad software played a decisive role, which the company successfully introduced to the Hungarian market, and by the mid-1990s, it had become one of the most widely used architectural design systems in the country.
The company's product portfolio gradually expanded: first with new architectural systems (Speedikon), then with reinforced concrete and steel structure design systems. In the mid-1990s, the company was the first to start working with CAFM systems, and in 1998, it was the first to introduce them in Hungary. Subsequently, they participated in numerous successful projects.
In the 2000s, the acquisition of distribution rights for the CADMATIC industrial facility design system and its introduction in Hungary represented a significant step forward in the company's history. This professional foundation paved the way for other industrial solutions, among which the participation in the first domestic project of risk-based maintenance stands out. This project is a good illustration of how the company's different areas of expertise build on and complement each other.
During this decade, the company also became a regional service provider, from the Czech Republic to Romania. In addition, it developed its own CAFM software, which K-ép Stúdió has successfully applied in numerous domestic projects.
The experience gained through CAFM consulting and the relationships built in the facility management profession have enabled K-ép Stúdió to become Hungary's leading FM consultant. We have participated in almost every major investment project, contributing to the improved usability of facilities.
We are proud of our community activities, which we carry out in order to develop and promote acceptance of the profession. The company's CEO was previously the president of the HUFMA organization. This decade saw the creation of the LEO Benchmarking publications, for which the company is the data owner and one of the editors. In addition, we regularly participate in professional conferences and publish numerous professional articles.
